Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty

The eyes are the focal point of your face.  When individuals interact with one another , the eyes are the first part of the face to make contact .
As we age , the skin around of the eyes begin to loosen and sag . This can make us look older than we feel or make us look tired or even angry or unhappy.

Blepharoplasty can be done to rejuvenate your eyes and your overall look . It will freshen your look and removes decades off your aging face .
It may also improve your upper fields of vision , and definitely reduce mascara smudging onto your eye lids .
You will have a renewed confidence as you interact with others , with a refreshed look , and brighter eyes .

Blepharoplasty is performed under local anaesthetic with mild sedation if required .
Excess skin is carefully measured , with skin lines drawn for accuracy . The skin and possibly fat are then removed . Suturing is then done with precise placement to hide incisions in natural skin folds .

Stitches are removed in about a week. Bruising can vary from a few days to a few weeks . We suggest no strenuous activity for about 2 weeks . Most resume regular social activities in 2-3 weeks , but complete healing can take at least 3 months .
With time the skin will slowly loosen and sag again , most find this procedure will last 10-15 years .
